change

we embrace it, we dread it, we live it we love it. but there is always certain discomfort in change. take a diet plan, always a hustle trying to use more fibre and less saturated fat or get used to that you are very much more responsible for your actions than you were when you carefree. you see the true essence of change means not being able to do wrong and let it go. it means being remorseful, it means humbling yourself. it means being more honest, truthful and means being able to make boundaries where they are needed. who then truly embraces change? knowing change means out with the old in with the new, makes us too skeptical to move forward because of the fear of the unknown. my main challenge this week is to be able to stand my ground, let the things people say about you go, forgive people, pray for patience and give it your all. change is a recipe for a good life change creates new opportunities because one's mindset is at a different place now. now for us to understand our changes in life let us be able to comprehend that life does not mean doing what you please but in actual fact life means being able to sacrifice your wants for someone else's needs. for this to happen, we need change. when you change your clothes after every shower you do not dread it, you do not wonder why you have to change, you do not wish to stay in the stale clothes because you know it is wrong. why then can you not embrace change of attitude in the same way?change puts you on the spot almost exposes you, but would't you want all the stale things you have done to be put out and aired and give you a chance to start afresh? ahhh...perhaps not. but you can almost imagine how beautiful it would be to just change for the better. when you get to a point where you do not judge people but treat them with love, where you love people enough to pray for their well being despite their nasty comments and most importantly change and give other people a second chance. i'm not saying let them trample all over you. but would it not be a merry day to see them changing? a line i hear a lot in relationships, "Are you trying to change me?" hmmm...are you?think about it.

faith

When you reach out to someone you love and who loves you, u reach out in faith because you already know how they feel. When you walk into a lift it is in faith that it will take you to the top of the building safely. When you get into a bus, faith has it you will be fine. Sometimes in life faith kicks you into a ditch, just when you least expected your own faith something that you know is inbuilt just goes and kicks you in the hind. But somehow we always have faith. Being let down by just about every single person you have faith in does not make you feel like you can not count on an extra being. You will tell yourself the only person you can truly rely on is you, yet when someone else does something that keeps you in the dumps you go and say " i did not see that coming" Just one way of saying. There is a reason there are millions of people in the world. people need to co-exist. Imagine being suspicious of everyone and everything around you, is that even life? Thinking the post man is a terrorist, or the shop keeper is a serial killer, or even the cafeteria lady practices black magic. Meaning u cant use anything from these places. Imagine how much of life you will miss out if you thought the bus driver is actually a werwolf now thats something to stop life as you know it.to believe that a small insect cant kill you takes faith. A leap into the pool takes faith that one will not drown. falling in love is also an active leap of faith. LIFE is faith. I'm just saying that even if you say there is no being that is higher than all beings on earth its amazing how you just have as much faith as any other person that tomorrow will come. You will be happy or even you will be able to get your breakfast and spend time with a loved one who by the way, faith has it he loves you back and no not trust. The cream of faith is not knowing what tomorrow brings but believing it will be just fine. Its all you have, hold on tight.

purity- ONCE

we wish we were , we prefer people who are, we live our lives pretending we are, we condemn other people if they somehow say they are not. We really ought to be atleast to a certain stage of our lives we all need to be pure. To every individual the very thought of innocence means a child beyond that one can not be innocent. Perhaps when one is old enough to get certain urges whether or not they act on it, their innocence is somehow polluted perhaps they are not pure anymore. A case in which we say atleast to pre-teens their innocense is somewhat compromised. Something a lot of us would really rather not think about. A friend approaching his 30s told me as a teenager he spent more time in the bathroom than any other room in the house but by his 20s either he could get a stand for his bathroom activity or he could control it better. The now because he believes he has found someone he completely adores he feels like his teenage years both the excitement and the bathroom activity since the person is far away. Are we then saying that our impurities root from the same portal for all of us? If there is something all humans have incommon with a few exceptions is that we have certain urges that we have a tendency to respond with urgency to without ackwnoledging that these urges are sometimes aggrevated by things outside us. Which means while we say what we feel is natural we have to imagine what has provoked those thoughts then stop the idea. A lot of you are probably saying, "Where on earth do you come from?". With risk of being deemed as the pretender I have to run this by you because like a lot of people who were with me through this, it touched me. "ONCE" A very touching sermon followed this word. What it basically said was that, one may will be tempted once what is to follow is their own doing. And that very one time should one give into it. Horror may follow. for example; it only takes "once" to lose your innocence. It only takes "once" to get a deadly disease. It takes "once" to consume deadly substances. One is tempted once giving into it means the repucutions that are to follow will be the result of "once". Imagining how many once each of us has done, means our lives arent pure are hearts still long for the joy of the world. We are conviced that a better car, a better house a better job will make us happy but really the joy of the heart is the fulfillement of the soul, which comes about only if you purify your soul and make it clean. Not by pretex but my being true to yourself. We all need this lesson, baby steps from now on will give us purity eventually. remember ....only "ONCE".
